Take your prototype to the next level with the latest in Arduino technology. Enjoy a workshop and lecture to get you comfortable with basic functions, and use the provided materials (ie. breadboard, LED lights etc.,) to enhance your creativity.

Presentation

An idea is only as strong as it's pitch. Capitalize on  the showcase opportunities we provide through the final stage of the competition - an exhibition style show room for judges, family and friends to check out each groups final product.

What We'll Ask

Innovamasters aims to connect and inspire groups of like-minded individuals in exploring solutions to present-day complex problems, such as climate change, world poverty, and health and safety. Such global issues have no one solution, span a multitude of disciplines and must be narrowed into smaller problems in order to be tackled.

Each year, the complex problem is designed to achieve the following goals for our competitors:

For more information on past complex problems, please see the links provided:

2015 - How might we harness human motion to generate clean energy?

2014 - How might we reduce plastic pollution in marine ecosystems?

  1. Inspire to tackle pressing world issues using the engineering design process and entrepreneurial skills.

  2.  Instill a sense of leadership, entrepreneurship, teamwork, and self-determination.

  3.  Convey the ideas or solutions from working groups to the general public for practical use.
